Announcing the newest Viking. The test was announced, desired and passed! A big hand and congratulations! This tradition has been going on for a number of years. One of the most important items of the Christmas Smorgasbord is Inlaged Sill, better known as Pickled Herring.
One must not only try it, but eat it and swallow it. Eventually it becomes an acquired taste and is very much loved by real Swedes. For some it is not an easy task, but to become a Viking, you must Do It! God Jul!
